IBIS at DTU stands for the Initiative for Biofertilizer Innovation and Science, a global research program hosted at the university’s DTU Bioengineering department. Its goal is to develop and promote the use of microbial biofertilizers to create more sustainable and affordable food production worldwide, and to provide the data and “recipes” needed for others to build local production facilities. 

The goal was to create a recognizable and strong symbol that clearly communicates perspectives behind the project.

IBIS ved DTU står for Initiative for Biofertilizer Innovation and Science, et globalt forskningsprogram med base på universitetets Institut for Bioengineering.
Målet er at udvikle og fremme brugen af mikrobielle bio-gødningsmidler for at skabe mere bæredygtig og overkommelig fødevareproduktion verden over samt at levere de data og “opskrifter”, der gør det muligt for andre at etablere lokale produktionsfaciliteter.
